The MADD walk was the day after the disappointing verdict. I think that it was a good thing because it gave us something to get up to in the morning that was a positive thing.

We are racing out of here to the courthouse. The verdict is being read at 11am today. We just got the call….Oh my gosh…I am just shaking.

So instead of pacing around this morning and feeling jittery and nervous waiting for that call that the jury has come to an agreement and the verdict is in…I decided to catch up on all my loose ends.

Final arguments were yesterday. Now we wait. Today the courts were closed for a mandatory closure, due to budget cuts. We all need a day to breathe anyway.
The state has proved their case. Any trickery that the Defense tried to use was proven as just smokescreens and was seen through easily. Amazing what kind of experts, money...
